The Artequus Artistic Equestrian Centre was founded in 1989 by Mr. Miguel Barrionuevo, who after a lifetime dedicated to horses and continuous learning with the best equestrian masters, decided to found an equestrian centre in Malaga where he turned riding into ART, PASSION and SENTIMENT.
Together with his son Alejandro Barrionuevo, professional rider since he was young and who follows in his steps, and a great team of professionals, give life to Artequus both at home and abroad. Besides this they also collaborate with the best horses shows in the world and create their own shows at an international level.
Nowadays, Artequus is a benchmark in artistic riding, creation of horse shows and training riders to make them know the difference between “riding a horse” and “join two souls in motion”.
